Number of network confirmations
Transaction confirmation is necessary to prevent double-spending of the same funds. Once the sender transfers the funds, the transaction enters the network for execution and inclusion in a block. The process of adding a transaction to a found block is called a transaction confirmation. One block includes one confirmation. As soon as your transaction receives a confirmation, the cryptocurrency becomes available for further use.
How long does it take to confirm the blockchain network?
The speed of confirmation depends on many factors such as network congestion, the size of the commission specified during the transfer, internet connection speed, etc. On average, transaction confirmation takes from 30 minutes to several hours. However, sometimes confirmation can take from 2 to 14 days if the network is overloaded. Withdrawal of funds becomes technically possible when a certain number of confirmations are made by the network (depending on the type of cryptocurrency being credited).The required number of confirmations depends on the currency:
